Personality

Uri, it should be noted, is still very young. She doesn't quite know who she's gonna be, or where the world will take her - but, for the moment? She's bright-eyed and cheery, with a smile for everyone and just as fast to introduce herself as she is to comment on the way you smell, or shove her nose a little too far into the water for anyone looking on's comfort. She doesn't really have boundaries, and can at times be a bit much - Uri has boundless energy, and is always ready to go go go and do do do. No task is too big, no stretch too long, not for her! She is, for the moment, happiness incarnate. That being said, Uri is quite the empathetic soul. She wants nothing more than to make everyone around her smile, in whatever way she can - sometimes (often) this can lead to hijinks and mischeif of the highest tier, though she'd never do anything to intentionally hurt anyone. She's no stranger to pranks, to joking, and teasing? That's almost second nature. She can, however, get a bit carried away sometimes, and take things too far, or just not have predicted all the outcomes. You see, Uri is a kitten who doesn't... put much forethought into things. She's as impulsive as they come, getting an idea and acting on it immediately - or not even getting one, and just doing. She's the kinda cat to rush in headfirst, without considering the outcomes. A magnet for trouble, in some ways.
All that being said, Uri does, actually, tend to keep her cards close to her chest when need be. She's got no problem batting her pretty eyes or putting on an innocent front - she is a kitten, after all. And isn't she cute? She'll use it to the best of her ability to get out of trouble, at times. Uri tries so hard to keep all the cats around her happy - it's her number one goal. She can often pursue this to the point of forgetting to look at her own, too. Besides, if she's sunshine and smiles, maybe others won't notice? What does she have to be anything but happy about for now, anyways. She'll quickly come to find that playing the reckless, cheerful cat who is more than happy to go along with the most gullible of jokes to make others smile is a perfect deceptive cover for any non-happy emotions that she might find inside.

History

Born to Mothra, a healer of Light-Tribe, who hadn't intended to be a single mother, Uri was one of five kits who came into the world only days after the passing of their father. Granted, it wasn't like there was anything romantic going on between Mothra and Valente, but the two had agreed to raise this litter together, and thanks to the sharp claws of Valente's last son among the tribes, that would never be the case.

Fortunately, however, for Mothra, she was not alone in her tribe, and even better yet - she had family there. With her adopted father, Sitka, and his mate, Nymeria, both bearing Light-tribe tattoos, Mothra's kits would be raised by many cats, running around Light-Tribe like they owned the place- 'cause in a way, didn't they? With the Silver-Light for a grandfather, nothing could get in the way.

Three months came and went quickly, and soon enough, all five kittens were granted tattoos: Water for Farrah and Leora, Earth for Lavender, Void for Zia, and, finally, Light for Uri. Thrilled she'd get to remain in the tribe she grew up, the little tortoiseshell was determined to spend her last three months with her siblings doing the best she could to make them all smile.

As the day approaches for them all to get true names, Uri is confident that her siblings will leave with fond memories of their home - and honestly, what more could she ask for?
